Flowing fabric ribbon chandelier

This wave-folded art installation chandelier takes fluid aesthetics as its creative core, breaking away from the solid structure and regular form of traditional lighting fixtures. It uses layers of undulating and stretched folded sheets to build an immersive light and shadow installation like a solidified water flow. Abandoning the symmetrical layout and fixed shape of traditional lighting, it uses wave-like undulating folds as its language to restore the flexible rhythm and soft radian of flowing water. Every undulation, turn and extension of the folds is like a moment when water flow is frozen, with both the casual tension of natural fluids and the order beauty of manual arrangement. Combined with warm and soft diffused light sources, the light diffuses layer by layer between the folds, forming a light and shadow effect like rippling water waves. It is atmospheric and flowing, minimalist but not monotonous, with a quiet and healing artistic temperament.

From the perspective of the overall form, the work takes longitudinally extending wave folds as the main body. The sheets are stacked and staggered layer by layer, forming a three-dimensional structure from sparse to dense and wide to narrow from top to bottom, like water pouring down from a height or layers of surging waves, outlining a soft and tension-filled outline in the high-ceiling space. The shapes of the folds are not uniform, but are adjusted and arranged manually. Each piece has slightly different radian, undulation and orientation, forming rich and delicate visual layers. From a distance, it looks like a suspended white wave sculpture. Up close, you can see the delicate texture of the sheet surface and the subtle changes of light and shadow between the folds. The details are exquisite and the texture is high-grade, breaking the planar limitation of traditional lighting and making the lamp itself a three-dimensional art installation that can be viewed 360 degrees.
