Unlike solid light-blocking lighting fixtures that produce rigid, sharp shadow boundaries, the semi-transparent glass structure emits soft ambient luminescence that subtly highlights the architectural details of atrium interiors, including corridor railings, structural columns and decorative wall trims. The multi-tiered spiral structural design greatly expands the effective lighting coverage area. Each layered group of glass spheres reflects and scatters light in all directions, generating rich, shifting light-shadow variations reminiscent of shimmering starlight or sunlight rippling across running water.
